Brakes
Inspection and replacement of pads, rotors, calipers and brake fluid.
Service description
The braking system includes pads, rotors, calipers, lines and brake fluid. We measure the wear of each component and replace only what is needed.
Why does it matter?
Your brakes are essential to slow down and stop your vehicle safely and predictably. Parts like pads and rotors wear naturally every time you press the pedal. Having them checked and maintained regularly prevents major failures and ensures your car responds immediately in an emergency.

When to plan this service?
| Item | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Inspection | We recommend a preventive inspection every 10,000 km or twice a year (often at your tire swap). |
| Pads and rotors | Depending on how you drive, they last 40,000 to 80,000 km on average. Replacement is needed when thickness nears 3 mm. |
| Brake fluid | Flushed and replaced per the manufacturer’s recommendations, usually every 40,000 km or every 2 to 3 years. |

FAQ
Do rotors have to be replaced at the same time as the pads?
No. If your rotors still meet the minimum required thickness and are not badly rusted, the pads alone can be replaced.
Why do my brakes squeal on the first few stops in the morning?
Moisture often leaves a thin layer of surface rust on the rotors overnight. If the noise goes away after a few stops, it is normal. If it persists, have them checked.
How much time should I plan for a brake job?
It depends on the vehicle and the condition of the parts. We tell you how much time to plan for when you arrive.
